Fitness Pros Plus are degreed and certified professionals dedicated to delivering high level services and products needed to meet your fitness and health goals.  They will help you cut through all the fitness and nutrition "misinformation" that is running rampant in the health and fitness industry.

 Doug Carlyle, MS, CSCS has been providing fitness training and health education services for about 20 years.  Doug follows a straight forward, honest approach to health and fitness.  He strives to know each person's goals, and provides them with the tools they need to succeed in whatever environment they choose.  Always the motivator, Doug helps his clients make small lifestyle changes that make a big difference in their quality of life.  He has experience training people that vary in age, ability and experience.  He has worked with people from 5-97 years old; athletes to individuals with multiple medical conditions. 

Doug has been involved in sports all of his life as a competitive athlete, recreational participant and a coach.  He received All-State Honors in both football and wrestling while in high school.  He has competed in many 5k, 10k, half-marathon and marathon runs.

Education - Doug received a Master of Science degree in Adult Fitness/Cardiac Rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.  He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Doug co-authored the book The Power of Champions.  He has been a guest on Dave Depew's radio show, The Dave Depew Fitness and Nutrition Hour.

Amber Carlyle has a passion for good nutrition and a lifestyle that leads to overall fitness.  She works diligently to promote physical activity, and to help clients choose diets of healthy foods, while eliminating those that are harmful to our bodies.  The old adage, “You are what you eat” really is true!  Many people take better care of their vehicles than they do their own bodies.  You can buy a new car, but you only get ONE body!  It’s never too late to start taking better care of it!

Compassionately counseling with clients, Amber helps them get real, determine what they want, and then achieve those goals safely and effectively.  Whether the goal is weight loss, weight maintenance, or to gain strength or endurance, Amber uses the tried and true principles of proper, balanced nutrition, portion control, and well designed fitness programs, to improve the lives of her clients.
